Tork Buckley came from a musical and design background and has been involved in photography for 30 years. He has sailed first during his teens in Scotland becoming a professional captain in 1989 subsequently commanding both motor and sailing yachts from 47 feet to 66m as well as acting as an Owner’s representative on refits and new builds. He has written and produced images for The Yacht Report since 2001 and is now the Magazine’s Editor. His images are widely featured in the magazine and, when not representational or technical, offer an impression of more abstract forms and images the Superyacht provides. Yacht shots with empty decks can be somewhat cold, so he also features those working on and enjoying the yacht in context.
